Pumpkin will always hold a special place in our hearts as the first cria born on our farm. Pumpkin is a tall, well-built red-haired girl, as her name implies.
She is friendly, calm, an easy birther and a fantastic mother. Her 2007 cria is M2A Jet Stream's Turbulence. Pumpkin gave birth on July 12, 2008 to HotternHelloooBaaaby!, a gorgeous dark brown male cria whose sire is Futurity winner Sierra Bonita's Macgyver's Hotazel. To date, HB has several 1st's, 2nd, 4th and a Reserve Color Championship. Pumpkin was rebred to SSRMT Peruvian Jet Stream for a July, 2009 gorgeous white cria, M2A Polar Jet. We promised her a year off if she gave us a girl and sure enough, bred to our award-winner, DD Rockin' Java, she gave birth to a fabulous girl, M2A Star Dust, on Aug. 12, 2010.
Pumpkin brought home a second her only time in the show ring, where judge Wade Gease exclaimed that her luster "leapt out at him". She still shows considerable luster.
